Environmental Protection Minister Amir Peretz instructed his staff members to prepare a plan for replacing such roofs in the line of fire. As part of the multi-year budget for the South approved by the government on Tuesday, NIS 45 million will be allocated toward rehabilitation waste issues and replacing problematic asbestos roofs in the region.
