Family of valleys man who died as a result of exposure to asbestos ‘handed A 1m payout’

The family of a valleys man who died as a result of exposure to asbestos has been handed 1m by his former employers, a law firm has said. Kenneth Evans, 71, of Tonyrefail in Rhondda Cynon Taff , died in August 2014 from mesothelioma cancer as a result of asbestos exposure during the 1960s and 1970s – and Access Legal has said his daughter Keryl Lanfear has been awarded an out-of-court settlement of 1m.
