A woman who developed asbestos-related cancer after working next to Brisbane’s famous Expo 88 site has warned the risks of asbestos exposure are still being ignored. Tonya Fenton was working in South Brisbane in 1985 when large parts of the suburb were being demolished in preparation for the city’s biggest party.
