Georgia Supreme Court justices were asked Monday to toss out a $4 million jury award to a man who contracted cancer that a medical expert attributes partly to his work at a Waycross textile plant. Lawyers for Scapa Dryer Fabrics dispute the rationale the expert used, saying other courts across the country have ruled it inadmissible.
