The American Board of Industrial Hygiene reminds workers and industry of the need to protect the public from hazards associated with asbestos exposure. ABIH supports the efforts of National Asbestos Awareness Week and encourages the utilization of Certified Industrial Hygienists to quantify and manage exposure risks for workers and the public from this known carcinogen.
