Newswise – Baltimore, MD, July 18, 2016 – University of Maryland School of Medicine Dean E. Albert Reece, MD, PhD, MBA, and William F. Regine, MD, FACR, FACRO, the executive director of the Maryland Proton Treatment Center and the Isadore & Fannie Foxman Schneider Endowed Chairman and Professor of Radiation Oncology at the UM SOM, announced today that Charles B. Simone, II, MD, has been named the new Medical Director of the Maryland Proton Treatment Center. Dr. Simone will begin work in November 2016.
