After an eight-year battle with cancer, Lenny Goldberg, the creator and owner of CD or Not CD on East Main Street, died Friday. He was 67. Goldberg, a spirited fan of do-wop music – and a long-time performer in the field – fought a type of cancer, mesothelioma, that is connected to exposure to asbestos, he said in an interview with the Tidings last May. His store, which sells a range of CDs, LPs and DVDs in every genre, along with T-shirts and other gift items, will continue on.
