A FATHER of three’s job as a firefighter could have led to the disease that claimed his life, an inquest heard. David Roger Burt, 69, of Berrow Road, Burnham, died from malignant mesothelioma after coming into contact with asbestos when he worked for Somerset Fire Brigade and during his time as a carpenter and joiner for a private firm.
