As Alexandria Highway Department workers complained about working inside of an asbestos-filled structure without proper equipment, the Town Council pushed forward with cleaning the building. The safety issue first arose around Dec. 18, as workers cleared the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce building, Market Street.
