A RUGBY stalwart who has terminal asbestos-related lung cancer is suing Caerphilly Council for more than A 300,000. Vernon Jenkins, 57, said he was exposed to “enormous quantities” of the killer substance while working as a council painter and decorator in schools in the borough.
