Hope for ‘Swindon disease’ victims as compensation rules reversed

A LIFELINE has been offered to sufferers of ‘Swindon disease’ mesothelioma after the government reversed a decision making victims pay thousands to pursue compensation in court. Many cases of the cancer associated with exposure to asbestos have been found in former Swindon factory and rail workers in the town during the last century.
