The lawyer representing a Cessnock man awarded a multi million dollar compensation payment for mesothelioma says BHP’s decision to appeal is frustrating and unfair. Steven Dunning worked at BHP’s Newcastle steelworks between 1979 and 1981 and was last year awarded $2.2 million in the Dust Diseases Tribunal.
