Twenty-one public rental housing estates have materials containing the banned asbestos – 32 years after the government stopped using the cancer-causing mineral, the Housing Authority said. According to a document uploaded by the authority yesterday, 17 estates among the 21 contain building components of asbestos-containing materials that are more accessible to the public.
