Asbestos caused death of Stafford community stalwart

A COMMUNITY stalwart from Dunston, who spent his entire working life with one firm, died of mesothelioma after being exposed to asbestos in his workplace. William Key, known to his family as Bob, worked for Chubb Locks in Wolverhampton from 1933 to 1980 in a job that involved wearing asbestos gloves and installing asbestos linings into safes, an inquest heard.
